25+ Pawsitively Silly Posts of House Cats For Mondays That Need Adult Supervision

No one ever tells you that one day, you'll wake up and you're the adult that's supposed to know what you're doing and provide supervision. But what about when we need adult supervision?

Isn't it crazy how we thought our parents had it all figured out? Now that we're in our 30s, we can safely say that we do not have it all figured out. We don't even have our breakfast every day figured out. Don't even ask us about dinner (it's a constant struggle in our house to decide what to eat every evening). But when we were kids, we thought our parents knew everything. Turns out they were faking it the whole time!

We may not be parents yet, but we are pawrents, and that's basically the same. We're still responsible for some children, ours just have four legs instead of two and sleep 18 hours a day. Same, same, really.

But even without regard to our feline children, there are days when we need some adult supervision, and one of those days is always a Monday. Monday, the dreaded first day after the weekend when your alarm goes off way earlier than you want it to and you just want to call in sick and have your mom come over and make you soup. Well, on those days, when your mom isn't here and you're out of sick days, it's our love for our cats that gets us out of bed. If we don't go to work, we won't be able to give them the life they deserve, and so, we put on our adult pants and go do our adult things.

Since today is one of those days, here are some pawsitively silly posts of house cats to remind you why you need to adult today. You don't have to have all the answers, but you just have to do your best. It worked well for our parents, and so we have to hope it will work just as well for us.

This is exactly the kind of situation that calls for some pawrental supervision. You can't let your kid go out of the house without pants on, so you have to either keep them inside or buy them some pants. Both options require you to make and enforce a decision, one they might not understand. But as long as they live under our roof, they'll live with our rules.
